Changes to the Local Authorities
Election Act

On December 10, 2012, Bill 7 Election Accountability Amendment Act, 2012, passed in the Provincial Legislature with several changes to the Local Authorities Election Act (LAEA), the Election Act, the Election Finances and Contributions Disclosure Act, and the Senatorial Election Act. The amendments to the various acts have now been made.
