Zero lot-line Variance Development

Zero Lot-line is defined in the City of St. Albert Land Use Bylaw as a form of residential development where one side of a dwelling, single-detached is placed on a side property line with no side yard setback in the Residential (RX) or Residential Lane (RXL) Districts. An attached or detached garage may be placed on the same side property line. Zero lot-line dwellings exist in conjunction with a maintenance easement to allow access to the side of the building placed on the property line.
