St. Albert Youth Working Group

The purpose of the St. Albert Youth Working Group is to explore the strengths and challenges of youth in our community and to be active in the planning and delivery of strategies that enhance these strengths and addresses the needs and challenges.

The 2017 priorities of the YWG are:

1. Life Literacy - defined as competence or knowledge in a specific area. The YWG is focusing on providing literacy in these areas:

  • Financial
  • Career
  • Post-secondary education
  • Independent living skills
  • Wellness
