Hello grade ones, teachers, and parents. Welcome to the City of St. Albert Arbor Day celebration! This year we are excited to bring you the same Arbor Day appreciation, just in a different format.
Our mission is that you take what you learn here today and do something positive for the environment. From planting your white spruce tree (St. Albert’s official coniferous tree), picking up litter as you play in your local park or reducing or recycling the paper you use, these actions have a positive impact on our forests and everything that lives inside them.
The Teachers Guide includes: Teacher Resources, History of Arbor Day, Virtual Activities, Art, Colouring, Decorating, Scavenger Hunt and Charades.
Note: The French version of the Teachers Guide includes the French Story Time video link.
