TD Clean and Green RiverFest

TD Clean and Green RiverFest is an annual event intended to increase wildlife habitat along the Sturgeon River by collecting litter before it enters the river and planting native tree and shrub species to expand the existing forested areas. It's an opportunity for individuals, groups and families of all ages to learn how everyone can impact the environment in a positive way. The event also features an Environment Fair with a variety of non-profit organizations and businesses interested in sustaining the environment. These exhibitors provide opportunities for event participants to grow their knowledge about all things environment with their interactive booths.

Thank you to the almost 250 participants for your hard work in 2018, cleaning up 210 kgs of garbage and planting approximately 340 native trees and shrubs on the bank of the Sturgeon River behind St. Albert Centre. This year's RiverFest will be held on Saturday, May 11 from 11am-2pm.    We'll see you there!
