Public Event Requests

Are you looking to have an extra special guest in the form of a fire truck at your public event?

A crew and truck are available to book for your next block party or community related event. Fire Services requires 14 days notice for any event booking.

A public event request typically lasts two hours.

Note: Event requests do not include private birthday parties or private functions

Fire crews will make every effort to attend requested public events, however, emergency responses always take priority. If crews are unable to attend due to an emergency, you will not be notified. If your website request is confirmed and the crew does not arrive, please assume they were responding to an emergency call.

It will be treated in accordance with the privacy protection provisions of Part 1 of the Protection of Privacy Act. If you have questions regarding the collection and use of your personal information, please contact the City’s Access and Privacy Coordinator. 2) The City does not respond to anonymous enquiries/submissions, malicious submissions, or submissions containing inappropriate or profane language; those received will be discarded by staff.
