Specific Outcomes for City of St. Albert

On September 16, 2021, St. Albert City Council held a special Council Meeting to discuss how the new provincial measures affect St. Albert. Council moved to implement the Restriction Exemption Program as soon as reasonably possible with the intent to allow vaccinated users to experience as little disruption as possible to their normal routines and activities. For unvaccinated users 12 and over, a privately paid negative COVID-19 test result must be presented.

The City of St. Albert is awaiting the provincial public health orders for specific details on how the provincial public health measures, including the Restriction Exemption Program, will affect City facilities, events and programs. More information will be shared, as it becomes available, at and via the City’s social media channels.

    • Amplify’s Movie in the Park
This event will proceed on September 17, as planned. Attendees must follow event rules: maintain 2 metres physical distance and seating within households only.  While this event will be held outside, masking is still encouraged.
    • The Arden
Tonight’s the Arden Theatre’s Plaza Series event will be proceeding as planned. Ticket sales have been capped at 85 attendees to follow physical distancing requirements within the outdoor venue. Tables have been removed to ensure adherence to physical distancing measures. Guests who have purchased tables at the event are invited to speak with an event liaison about the change and will still receive preferential seating.
