Honouring RCMP Constable David Wynn

On January 26, 2015, members of the public had the opportunity to pay their respects to RCMP Constable David Wynn, who lost his life in the line of duty. Both along the funeral procession route and at the service itself, members of the community gathered to pay their respects and express their grief.

Message from the Mayor on behalf of City Council

Constable David Wynn

“On behalf of St. Albert City Council and all St. Albertans, we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of RCMP Constable David Wynn. We join you in mourning his passing as we struggle with the senselessness of his death. Policing is a noble profession, where ordinary people do extraordinary things to help keep our communities safe. Our thoughts are with RCMP Constable Wynn’s family as we collectively grieve.”

A detailed biography covering the life and service of Constable David Wynn has been made available through the Royal Canadian Mounted Police website.
