Community Support and Navigation

Sometimes Life is Hard

FCSS offers support and resource navigation to residents. A Community Support Worker will assess the needs of those facing a broad range of social issues and help them navigate and connect to appropriate community resources. The Community Support Workers can assist community members with referrals and help to bridge any barriers that they may encounter while accessing services.

Community Support Workers are here to help St. Albert residents when they are not sure where to turn. It is a free, confidential service that will connect you to resources and services to meet your individual needs.

Community Support Workers can help navigate support and services such as:

  • Mental Health
  • Employment Services
  • Addictions
  • Transportation
  • Support Groups
  • Financial Supports
  • Family Violence
  • Financial Literacy
  • Homelessness
  • Form Completion

This service is available for residents of all ages, with one of the Community Support Workers dedicated to working with youth aged 15-24.
