Supporting Organizations

St Albert Food Bank & Community Village

Initiative: 
Community Christmas Banquet and Hamper Distribution 

Details: 
The St. Albert Food Bank and Community Village is hosting a Community Christmas Banquet and distributing food hampers to those in need this holiday season. They need donations of food for both. Any leftovers will be brought to St. Vincent de Paul.

  • Banquet - December 16, 2021 (must preregister)
  • Hampers - Ready for pick up on December 22, 2021

Salvation Army

Initiative: 
Coats for Families and Toy Store Donations

Details: 
The Salvation Army is providing vouchers to LoSeCa for accessing new or gently used coats and warm clothing for families in need this winter. They are also collecting donations of toys for the St. Albert Salvation Army Toy Store where families can be referred to pick out a gift for their children. They are also accepting volunteers to be a Kettle Worker

Kaleo Collective

Initiative: 
Little Santas

Details: 
Little Santas is a special day that allows children from single-mom homes to experience the true meaning of Christmas. You can Adopt a Little Santa for $50, which will cover the cost of one child and includes: A gift to their mom, a meal from Socrates, a gingerbread house to build as a family, happy holiday memories!

Kinette Club

Initiative:
Christmas Hamper Program and Adopt a Family Program

Details:
The Kinette Club of St. Albert Christmas Hamper Campaign will be delivering hampers to families in need on December 12! The Hampers include two weeks of food, plus all the ingredients for a delicious Christmas dinner (turkey, buns, potatoes, stuffing, etc.), along with toys for the children in the home, up to the age of 17.

Donations to the Hampers are needed and there are plenty of volunteer opportunities available, as well.

Coats for Kids and Families

Details:
People can donate by visiting the website or by mailing a donation to the main office.
