Are you a youth between the ages of 15 and 24? Do you feel that there are critical topics and issues that aren't being addressed for your age group? If you do,join the Youth in Action (YIA) Committee!

This committee focuses on identifying key topics, passions and learnings that youth are interested in and making these services or programs available.

There are no interviews or applications needed to join YIA. Whether you’re looking to volunteer, toconnect with other youth, or perhaps share an idea, there’s a spot for you at our table! 

Why join? 

1. Youth in Action empowers youth to take an active role in shaping their community. 
2. The committee facilitates lots of opportunities for skill development, such as leadership, program planning, program facilitation and public speaking (just to name a few!) 
3. Newly gained skills and volunteer hours with Youth in Action are great additions on resumes and future scholarship applications.
