Older Adults and Seniors
St. Albert’s older adults and seniors are an important, vibrant and growing demographic of this community. They are parents, grandparents, mentors, friends, neighbours, caregivers, employers, employees, and volunteers. They share their knowledge, experience, and time to contribute to the economic well-being and social fabric of the province.
Family & Community Support Services works with many stakeholders to support healthy aging in place. Aging in place, or aging in the community, refers to a person’s ability to continue living independently at home and/or in their community through the provision of necessary support and services.Topics in this section
