Ageism awareness through intergenerational quilting
The City of St. Albert partnered with youth and St. Albert Hugs and Stitches quilting group to facilitate intergenerational connections and learning through quilting.
This collective, intergenerational piece of art and conversations throughout the year signify a mosaic of experiences and commitments to combat ageism together.

The community quilt is currently displayed at St. Albert Centre until the end of October, commemorating Ageism Awareness Day on October 9, 2025.
