Keep Your Distance!
The City of St. Albert operates many different types of equipment that is used throughout the city to perform tasks, create improvements and meet standard service levels within the community. It is dangerous for pedestrians to approach equipment. Safe operation is necessary to maintain the good condition of our parks, facilities, roads, and utilities. Please contact Public Operations (formerly Public Works) at 780-459-1557 with questions or inquiries. Below is a list of tips to keep everyone as safe as possible when near City equipment.
Keep your distance! For everyone’s safety, please stay back from road maintenance equipment. Please give staff ample room to operate, as machinery may throw up rock or other debris.
Keep your distance! For everyone’s safety, please do not approach City vehicles. Staff may not hear inquiries over the sound of loud equipment.

Keep your distance! For everyone’s safety, please do not approach pesticide applicators. The chemicals used have the potential to be dangerous to those not wearing proper protective equipment.

Keep your distance! The City of St. Albert encourages all residents to stay off ponds and lakes throughout the city. Despite the cold temperatures in the winter season, ice surfaces on City storm water management facilities are not safe for walking or skating.
