Here are some key destinations around the Edmonton area and details on how they can be reached using St. Albert Transit.

Downtown Edmonton

  • In all time periods Route 201 from St. Albert is westbound on Jasper Avenue.
  • Route 211 is express from St. Albert Centre Exchange or the Village Transit Station to Jasper Avenue.

Returning to St. Albert:

  • Route 201 returns to St. Albert westbound on 102 Jasper Avenue.

Government Centre

  • Morning peak hours (until 9:20 a.m.): Route 208
  • Mid-day: Route 201 (northbound on 107 Street) 

Returning to St. Albert:

  • Afternoon: Route 208 (northbound on 107 Street).

Grant MacEwan University

  • Morning: Route 208
  • Mid-day: Route 201 

Returning to St. Albert:

  • Afternoon: Routes 201 and 208 (westbound on 104 Ave.) 
  • Weeknights, Saturday and Sunday: Route 201 (westbound on 104 Ave.)

Kingsway Mall

  • Going to Kingsway Mall, Route 201 stops on Kingsway Ave. at 108 Street (by the A&W).
  • Routes 202 stops at the Kingsway Transit Centre

Returning to St. Albert:

  • On weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays, board Route 201 westbound on Kingsway at 109 Street (beside the AMA building).
  • On weekdays, Route 202 is northbound at Kingsway Transit Centre.

NAIT

  • Morning and mid-day: Route 202 to / from NAIT

Returning to St. Albert:

  • Afternoon and evening: Route 202 
  • Saturday and Sunday: StAT service is on Kingsway Avenue (at 108 St. or 109 St.)

Royal Alexandra Hospital

  • For travel to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, customers should use Route 202 from St. Albert Centre Exchange or Village Transit Station.
  • Route 202 operates weekdays.

Returning to St. Albert:

  • To return to St. Albert from the Royal Alexandra Hospital area in the midday, afternoon and evening periods, Route 202 is eastbound at the Kingsway Transit Centre.
  • At all other time periods (Saturdays and Sundays) patrons are able to board the Route 201 eastbound on 111 Avenue and ride around the downtown loop.
  • Alternatively, on weeknights, patrons may choose to use ETS service or to walk to the AMA building at Kingsway / 109 Street to connect to StAT services.
  • Similarly, on Saturday or Sunday, some patrons may prefer to use ETS service to 118 Ave. / 124 St. to connect to StAT services.

University of Alberta

  • All time periods: Routes 203 and 204 (Sept to April only)

Returning to St. Albert:

  • All time periods: Routes 203 and 204 from University Transit Centre and 3 westbound stops on 87 Avenue (112 St, 114 St. beside the Butterdome, 116 St.)
  • Please note, on Weeknights during May to August, take LRT to Churchill Station to connect with Route 201 beside the Winspear Centre.

West Edmonton Mall

Please refer to the weekday and weekend schedules for Route 205.

Westmount Mall

  • On weekdays and Saturdays, take Route 203 to/from Westmount. On Saturdays, from 9:45 a.m. until 4:45 p.m., you should also take Route 203.
  • There is NO StAT service direct to Westmount early on Saturday mornings, on Saturday evenings nor on Sunday. Please transfer to ETS services on St. Albert Trail, at Kingsway Mall or Downtown Edmonton.
