Route 201 Detour

Please be advised that due to construction, Route 201 will be running on a long-term detour effective Monday, April 14 until further notice. Route 201 will be unable to travel on 105 Street and a portion of 104 Avenue. Route 201 will travel westbound on Jasper Avenue and northbound on 109 Street. Please see the detour map to view affected and alternate bus stops.

Route A21 Detour - July 9 to Dec. 31

Please be advised that due to construction, Route A21 will operate on a detour route from July 9 to December 31, 2025. Route A21 will be unable to service any bus stops on Richardson Drive for the duration of this detour. Please board Route A21 on Riel Drive, near the Enjoy Centre.

Route A6 Detour - Oct. 16 to 31

Please be advised that due to construction, Route A6 will operate on a detour route from October 16 to 31, 2025. Route A6 will be unable to service a portion of Jensen Lakes Blvd. A temporary bus stop has been established on Jensen Lakes Blvd, north of the traffic circle at Joyal Way for the duration of this detour. Please see the detour map to view the affected and alternate bus stops.

Route A4 & A5 Detour - Nov. 1

Please be advised that due to construction, Routes A4 & A5 will operate on a detour route on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Routes A4 & A5 will be unable to travel along a portion of St. Vital Avenue. Please see the detour map to view the affected bus stops and detour routing.

Severe Weather Detours

During instances of severe weather, St. Albert Transit buses cannot always safely access all bus stops in all neighbourhoods. Severe weather detours are initiated to reduce the chances of buses operating on unsafe or unstable roadways.

During incidents of severe snowfall or freezing rain, buses may not serve stops identified with Snow Detour signage. When severe weather detours are declared by St. Albert Transit, customers are requested to board at locations identified by Temporary Severe Weather Bus Stop signage.
