Route A14 Bus Stop Relocation
Effective Friday, October 8, bus stop #0925 (located at Save-On-Foods North) is being relocated due to the St. Albert Trail realignment. The new bus stop will be located 30 meters across St. Albert Trail from the current bus stop location. Please see the bus stop relocation map to view the new bus stop location.
Route 203 Bus Stop Closure - Stop #2982
Please be advised that bus stop #2982, located on 114 Street at 83 Avenue, will be closed effective May 2, 2022 until the end of March 2023. Please board Route 203 one block north at bus stop #2638.
Route 201 & 211 Bus Stop Closure - Stop #1608
Please be advised that bus stop #1608, located on 100 Street at 103 Avenue, will be closed effective immediately until August 30, 2022. Please board Routes 201 & 211 one block south at bus stop #1292
Rainmaker Rodeo Detour
Please be advised that due to the Rainmaker Rodeo taking place May 27 to 29, 2022, the following detours will be in effect:
A21 Detour - Route A21 will be operating on a detour route between noon and 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022. Route A21 will only service bus stops on the west side of Riel Drive. Please view the detour map to see affected bus stops.
Parade Detour - Due to the Rainmaker Rodeo parade taking place on Saturday, May 28, 2022, Routes A4, A5, A6 & A31 will be operating on a detour route between 5:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Please view the detour map to see affected bus stops.
Severe Weather Detours
During instances of severe weather, St. Albert Transit buses cannot always safely access all bus stops in all neighbourhoods. Severe weather detours are initiated to reduce the chances of buses operating on unsafe or unstable roadways.
During incidents of severe snowfall or freezing rain, buses may not serve stops identified with Snow Detour signage. When severe weather detours are declared by St. Albert Transit, customers are requested to board at locations identified by Temporary Severe Weather Bus Stop signage.
There are five ways to check if your stop is affected by severe weather detours:
