Route A21, A31 & 202 Detour - Summer 2026

Please be advised that St. Anne Street will be closed to all traffic every Thursday evening from 5:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. beginning July 9 until August 27. Due to this closure, Routes A21, A31 and 202 will operate on a detour route and will travel on Perron Street and Sir Winston Churchill Avenue. Please board at bus stops on Perron Street.

Route A9 & A33 Detour - June 29 to Aug. 10

Please be advised that due to construction, Routes A9 & A33 will operate on a detour route from June 29 to August 10 pending construction completion. Routes A9 & A33 will be unable to travel on Hebert Road and will detour using Forest Drive and Farmstead Avenue. Please see the detour map to view the affected and alternate bus stops.

Gervais Road Bus Stop Closures - July 8 to August 8

Please be advised that due to construction, the following bus stops will be closed on Gervais Road from July 8 to August 8, 2026, pending construction completion.

Bus stop #0915 - Gervais Rd. & Grange Drive westbound

Bus stop #0659 - Gervais Rd. & Governors Hill westbound

Bus stop #0597 - Gervais Rd. & Levasseur Rd. eastbound

Bus stop #0923 - Gervais Rd. & Goodridge Drive eastbound

Bus stop #0919 - Gervais Rd. at Tudor Glen eastbound

Route A7 & A8 Bus Stop Closures

Please be advised that due to construction, the following bus stops will be closed from July 22 to August 8, 2026, pending construction completion:

Route A7 - Bus stop #0999 (located on Boudreau Rd. at Ironwood Dr.)

Route A8 - Bus stop #0663 (located on Bourdreau Rd. at Bellerose Dr.)

Construction at Nakî Transit Centre

Please be advised that construction will be taking place at the Nakî Transit Centre and will be done in two phases. Phase one will begin on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, and will run for approximately 7-10 days. During Phase one of construction, Bay #3 will be closed as well as the north side platform. Bus stops for the A9/A33, A12/A13/A23 & Book-A-Bus will be relocated for the duration of this phase of construction. Please see the transit centre map to view the affected areas and relocated bus stops.

Please allow a few extra minutes to arrive at your bus stop during the construction. We appreciate your patience and understanding while the construction is being completed.

Details about Phase two of this construction project will be shared once they become available.

Route 201 Detour - August 8

Please be advised that due to the Cariwest Parade taking place in downtown Edmonton, Route 201 will operate on a detour route on Saturday, August 8 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Route 201 will be unable to access 100 Street, Jasper Avenue & 109 Street and will travel westbound on 104 Avenue to Grant MacEwan. Temporary bus stops have been established on 104 Avenue for the duration of this detour. Please see the detour map to view the affected and alternate bus stops.

Severe Weather Detours

During instances of severe weather, St. Albert Transit buses cannot always safely access all bus stops in all neighbourhoods. Severe weather detours are initiated to reduce the chances of buses operating on unsafe or unstable roadways.

During incidents of severe snowfall or freezing rain, buses may not serve stops identified with Snow Detour signage. When severe weather detours are declared by St. Albert Transit, customers are requested to board at locations identified by Temporary Severe Weather Bus Stop signage.

Route A33 - Stops #0235, 0245, 0233 and 0247 on Burnham Ave.
