Breaking the total down, loans of books and other print materials was up 2% from 2017, to 650,664; loans of audio-visual (AV) materials (DVDs, CDs, CD audiobooks) were down 7% from 2017, to 242,540; digital resources (eBooks, eAudiobooks, streaming resources) use was up 11% from 2017, to 116,402. The use of AV materials continued to trend down due to the increased use of streaming services such as Netflix.
