This indicator measures the transit commuter ridership.

Recent passenger statistics show a positive trend toward a stabilization in ridership demand, as opposed to slight ridership declines seen in previous years.
Revenue Recovery as a Percent of Total Transit Cost
Measures the revenue generated by fare, pass, and advertising sales over the cost of providing transit service; an indicator of general efficiency.

2018: R/C ratio remains consistent and is above average when compared to peer agencies in a challenging environment.
Total Service Hours
Measures the annual service hours provided for public transit.

Comments
Service hours are 1.4% more than last year; the extra hours are mostly attributable to Groat Bridge construction delays extending travel times. Modest adjustments to pm local routes in summer period also factored.
