Election Information

The next general election for Mayor, City Councillors, Public School Trustees and Catholic School Trustees will be held on October 15, 2029. 

The campaign period for the 2029 St. Albert Municipal Election runs from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2029. Candidates who intend to run in the 2029 St. Albert Municipal Election can only accept contributions and incur expenses once their notice of intent is complete and they have been added to the Register of Candidates.

Campaign Disclosure Statements

Candidates are required to file a disclosure statement on or before March 1 of each year if they received contributions in the previous year.
