Ballot Counting

Due to Provincial changes to the Local Authorities Election Act (LAEA), automated voting equipment, such as electronic tabulators, are prohibited and the counting of ballots must be completed by a manual count.

Below are two videos that provide an overview of how election ballots will be counted. These methods have been chosen for accuracy and transparency.
