
ID Requirements
You are eligible to vote if you are: At least 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen your place of residence is located in the City of St. Albert on Election Day, October 20, 2025.
All Voters may be required to complete a statement of elector eligibilty that they are eligible to vote.
There are two scenarios that will determine what ID you need in order to vote:
- Registered voters are required to show valid government issued identification containing, at minimum, the voter's photograph and name.
- Non-Registered voters are required to validate their ID by providing one of the following:
- One piece of Government issued identification containing the voter's photograph, name and current address; or
- One piece of identification containing the voter's name and current address.
- Those unable to produce identification set out above may have a registered voter vouch for them.
