COVID-19 Recovery Task Force
Actively planning for the recovery phase
The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged our community and demonstrated our resiliency. While the impacts of the pandemic will be felt for years to come, Council recognized the importance of planning for recovery.
In May 2020, Council announced the members appointed to the City’s Recovery Task Force that will support St. Albert’s economic and social resiliency. The appointments include Council members and public members.
On August 30, 2021, the Recovery Task Force presented their Final Report to Council. The Report outlines the Task Force's recommended strategies for how St. Albert can continue to recover from the social and economic impacts of COVID-19 in our community and on our businesses.
