Apply for Lighting

If you are interested in requesting that an event, celebration, or day of significance be recognized by the commemorative lighting of municipal infrastructure, please complete the application.

All requests must meet the eligibility criteria.

The City of St. Albert will review your request and notify you if your request has been approved.

It will be treated in accordance with the privacy protection provisions of Part 1 of the Protection of Privacy Act. Lighting Occasion Details

The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to revise the name of the event, anniversary, etc. being recognized through commemorative lighting.

Check the online calendar to see if your preferred date is available.

Is there any flexibility in your chosen date? (Note that greater flexibility in dates increases your chances for approval)


Colours

Specify up to five colours for your commemorative lighting occasion. You can use qualifiers such as light, dark, etc.

List one colour per line.

The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to revise the colours used to recognize the event, anniversary, etc., through commemorative lighting.
