Invite the Mayor/Councillors to an Event
If your group would like the Mayor to attend a public event (e.g., conferences, anniversary celebrations, charitable or cultural events), please use our online form below to send your request to the Mayor's Office.
Due to the large number of invitations the Mayor receives, we appreciate receiving your invitation at least three weeks in advance of your event.
Once the invitation is received, you will receive an email with information whether the Mayor is able to attend. You have the ability to indicate on the online form if your invitation should be sent to the Deputy Mayor, or another member of City Council to see whether they are able to attend on the Mayor's behalf. If the Mayor is not available, and you have indicated to do so, your invitation will be forwarded to Deputy Mayor and/or Council.
