Community Flag Pole

The City of St. Albert provides individual residents and community groups with the opportunity to display special flags in recognition of significant community events

2017

November 15 to 19
From November 15 to 19, the Community Flag Pole at St. Albert Place will be flying the Métis Flag to recognize Métis Week.
October 31 to November 11
From October 31 to November 11, the Community Flag Pole at St. Albert Place will be flying the St. Albert Legion Branch 271’s Poppy Campaign Flag in honour of Remembrance Day and the annual Poppy Campaign.
October 29 to 31
From October 29 to 31, the Community Flag Pole at St. Albert Place will be flying the Turkish flag to recognize the Republic Day of Turkey on October 29.
October 26 to 29
From October 26 to 29, the Community Flag Pole at St. Albert Place will be flying the St. Albert Legion Branch 271’s Poppy Campaign Flag in honour of Remembrance Day and the annual Poppy Campaign.
June 12 to 18
From June 12 to 18, the Community Flag Pole at St. Albert Place will be flying the Pride Flag to recognize Pride Week in St. Albert.
March 20 to 27
From March 20 to 27, the Community Flag Pole at St. Albert Place will be flying the Franco-Albertan flag to recognize Rendez-vous de la Francophonie.
February 22 to 27
From February 22 to 27, the Community Flag Pole at St. Albert Place will be flying the World Organization of the Scout Movement flag to recognize Scout – Guide Week.
Throughout 2017
When the Community Flag Pole is not flying a community group’s special event flag, the City will fly the official Canada 150 flag to commemorate Canada’s 150th anniversary.
