Voter Information- 2025 Municipal Election
Planning to vote this fall?
St. Albert residents will be casting their ballots for Mayor, Councillors and School Board Trustees who will represent our community for the next four years.
New! Register to Vote in the Municipal Election
Beginning in 2025, eligible voters must register in order to be listed on the Permanent Electors Register that is a new requirement under the Local Authorities Election Act (LAEA). This is a new requirement for all Albertans voting in a municipal election.
Registering is Easy!
To be added to the Permanent Electors Register before Advance Voting and Election Day, pre-register by September 15, 2025, on voterlink.ab.ca
Registering in advance makes voting easier.
- Haven’t registered yet? Do it now!
- Not sure? Check your information
- Moved recently or changed your name? Update your information
Can I still vote if I don’t register in advance?
Yes, non-registered voters will be required to complete registration at a voting station prior to receiving ballots. When you arrive at a voting station, you will be required to show government issued ID that shows your current address and identity. Learn more about ID requirements
