26-27 Arden Theatre Presenter Series Now On Sale
In case you missed it, the 2026-2027 Arden Theatre Presenter Series launched into on-sale mode on July 10. This year, what people know and love about The Arden is back with fan favourites you’ll want to see again alongside new visitors who are geared up to surprise, delight and entertain audiences all season long.

Skerryvore

The East Pointers
This diverse season runs the genre gamut, presenting acts ranging from music to comedy, to film and documentaries, dance and family programming, and some musical theatre, too! Not only are some well-known faces set to return, like Skerryvore and The East Pointers on the music scene, but the incomparable Brent Butt and CBC’s Laugh Out Loud with Ali Hassan & Friends are also bringing back the comedy, too. Musical acts Burnstick, Donovan Woods and Cassie & Maggie are set to take The Arden stage for the first time this season and tickets are sure to move quickly! Also new to our stage will be Irish Folk band Kíla, local soul-roots-blues group Secondhand Dreamcar, and Wyatt C. Louis, who brings textural songs and stunning vocals that will leave their audience feeling at ease and in awe.

The film world will be opening new doors with A Fresh Lens 2: NFB Festival of Shorts, a collection of short films that highlight a vibrant spectrum of stories reflective of the lived realities and experiences of newcomers to Canada alongside a returning fan favourite, The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour.

Theatre and dance will take centre stage with Ballet Jörgen’s rendition of Swan Lake and a moving production about civil rights activist Viola Desmond, Hey Viola!, that brings her life to the stage using songs popularized by Nina Simone, Sister Rosetta Tharpe and more.

The season’s diversity rounds out with sure fire entertainment fit for the whole family. Glob is a magically graceful and poetic show featuring two mysterious, soft and fluffy beings who make the stage their own personal playground and The Peking Acrobats bring gravity-defying stunts, feats of contortion and amazing displays of flexibility and control to the stage for one night only.

Comedy abounds in this year’s Presenter Series! Bridget Ryan’s Christmas Party will leave you feeling merry and bright with the perfect musical blend of holiday classics, show tunes and pop/disco classics. Don’t miss the painfully funny Jurassic Park parody, Hold On To Your Butts and relive the greatest dinosaur movie of all time as its recreated scene by scene, shot by shot, by two actors and a sound designer. And be sure to secure your seat for God is a Scottish Drag Queen Halloween Spooktacular, a seriously popular one-man comedy show known for its brilliant look at pop culture and humanity through the eyes of a foul-mouthed and very lovable Scottish deity.

There’s always more to see at The Arden Theatre: William Prince is back for just the second time ever for an acoustic evening of folk and connection. Award-winning pianist, vocalist and songwriter Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne brings a vibrant musical tribute to the legacy of rock and roll pioneer, Fats Domino. Connie Kaldor brings experience and an unforgettable stage presence. Equally as entertaining (but for entirely different – and hilarious reasons), The Arrogant Worms, whose songs have been played across the internet and in outer space also circle back to drop by the theatre for their fourth visit to St. Albert. Kathleen Edwards takes the stage with her own mix of alt-country, folk and heartland rock and roll. And last, but certainly not least, Audrey Ochoa will lead a group of incredible Albertan musicians as they feature the iconic Back to Black album, as well as some influential music that led to its creation, in a one-time-only show, Back to Black: A Celebration of Amy Winehouse.
