Time to Celebrate!
Four decades of fun!
Did you know that Fountain Park is celebrating its 40th Birthday this year?
Fountain Park Recreation Centre opened its doors in 1978 as St. Albert’s first indoor aquatic facility. At the time, it was built to accommodate the growing need for more swimming opportunities in our city. Since its opening, it has been at the centre of the community. It has a wonderful history of providing swim lessons, aquatic fitness classes, and family pool fun over the last 40 years.
The City of St. Albert invites residents and visitors to join in celebrating the pool’s 40th anniversary on Saturday, December 8 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Some of the highlights of the birthday party include:
- $2 admission
- Lane and public swimming
- Face painting
- Fun activities
- Treats and refreshments
The joy of giving and the benefits of active living!
