Children’s Festival Tickets On Sale Now: Get Ready to Make Memories!
Ready to make memories to last a lifetime? Then get your tickets for the 44th Children’s Festival of the Arts, taking place May 29 – June 1, 2025, in downtown St. Albert! Come experience a world of wonder as you discover an array of world-class performances and awe-inspiring activities. To help plan your epic four days of fun, here’s everything you need to know!
Must-see Feature Performances
This year’s Festival will host six feature performances, including A Simple Space, a jaw-dropping show where seven acrobats push their physical limits to extremes. Presented by Australian company Gravity and Other Myths, A Simple Space is a family-friendly chance to see astonishing stunts up close. It’s a stripped-down approach to circus that hosts audiences who sit merely feet away while performers pull off logic-defying feats of strength, interacting with the audience as they go, creating a unique experience for each and every show! It offers show-goers a chance to witness the acrobats challenging themselves – and each other, almost as if they’re playing games, pushing each other to their extremes, all while enjoying the fun of seeing where their limits are!

You also won’t want to miss Disney's Alice in Wonderland Jr., a St. Albert Children’s Theatre production that will have you falling in love all over again with this timeless story of adventure, imagination and pure fun! When young Alice finds herself in a strange world where everything seems upside down, she must find her way home… while finding herself along the way. As she travels through Wonderland, Alice encounters all the iconic characters that audiences have come to love, including the ever-tardy White Rabbit, the grinning Cheshire Cat, the cool Caterpillar, the wacky Mad Hatter and the hot-tempered Queen of Hearts.
Don’t stop there! Keep the fun going with Ahkamēyimok, presented by Darrell Brertton Jr., (a vibrant journey of resilience and empowerment), SplashN' Boots (a beloved Canadian music duo that brings happiness and joy to children of all ages), Mario the Maker Magician (Robots and magic and slapstick, oh my!), and The Merry Marching Band (a hilarious musical trip around the globe).

You'll find no shortage of things to see and do before or after taking in a feature performance. Low-cost and no-cost activities await! Bust a move as you learn to break dance, get swept away by the rhythm of the drums, go on a hunt for fairies, play with light and make your own totes, collage with nature and learn more about your emotions and how to express yourself in a positive way!
You’ll find plenty of free things to do, too!
