Explore Your Creative Side in 2023!

Do you want to improve your public speaking? Are you interested in theatre? Do you want to develop your acting skills? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then the Adult Acting and Improv class might be for you.

From theatre sports and monologue work to scene/play analysis, the Adult Acting and Improv class covers the gamut of acting and improv work and offers a safe environment to explore your creativity and have fun.

Rob Hutchinson has participated in St. Albert’s adult performing arts classes in the past and he commends the instructors of the class he took for their ability to make every exercise fun.

“It was laughter therapy at its best, each and every session,” Rob says. “The arts community in the greater Edmonton area is truly fortunate.”

Classes take place at the City Arts Space, a dedicated space that hosts many performing arts functions, including rehearsals for the St. Albert Children’s Theatre.

“I wasn’t familiar with the facility before doing improv, but I feel that more St. Albertans need to physically come see it in action.”

The Adult Acting and Improv class is also a great way to break up a busy schedule - classes take place every Thursday evening for nine weeks, starting January 19.
Now is the time of the year to try something new in a fun, supportive, welcoming and pressure-free environment.
