Grosvenor Outdoor Pool
Enjoy fun in the sun at Grosvenor Outdoor Pool this summer! This outdoor pool, established in 1967, was the very first outdoor aquatic facility built in St. Albert. It was developed as part of the Alberta Centennial Celebration. It is now host to a long leisure pool and deep diving tank for those wanting to stay cool while keeping active in the summer.
It’s a great place to get fit and play. Spend the day relaxing on the pool deck and enjoy snacks and beverages from the Splash Deck Café. It's the perfect place for a poolside picnic and is great for those just wanting to lay back and enjoy the sunshine!
Residents and visitors alike can plan their visit by checking our daily public and lane swim times. There are Saturday and Sunday rental opportunities for birthday parties and other celebrations. Advanced Leadership and Lifesaving Society programs are also held at the pool.
This summer, the City of St. Albert wants to know your thoughts about the Grosvenor Outdoor Pool. We are hosting an online and in-person survey available from July 2 to August 31. Topics in the survey will cover usage, hours of operation and future opportunities for the pool itself.
Participants can complete this year’s survey either online through the City’s public participation page or on location at Grosvenor Outdoor Pool, Fountain Park Recreation Centre and Servus Credit Union Place Guest Services.
