Councillor Natalie Joly: Deputy Mayor May – June 2020
Natalie was raised in St. Albert, then lived in both Edmonton and New Zealand before returning home to St. Albert. She now lives with her family in Akinsdale.
In addition to her role on Council, she is an MBA candidate at Athabasca University, and volunteers as an Affiliate Photographer with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, an organization that provides bereavement portraiture to families experiencing the loss of an infant.
With 20 years of involvement with the local white-water kayaking community, Natalie is also an avid kayaker and outdoor enthusiast. More recently, she has become a member of the Alberta Mycological Association, where she is learning the joys of mushroom identification and foraging. She is also an avid arts enthusiast, attending many events and exhibitions showcasing all levels and mediums of artistic practice.
