RCMP - Arrest Male Driving Dangerously in Stolen SUV
On Nov. 13, 2025, at approximately 12:00 p.m., St. Albert RCMP was dispatched to reports of a male attempting to steal vehicles at two local businesses in the north end of town. Investigation determined he was also in a stolen black SUV.
St. Albert RCMP responded and engaged the assistance of the Alberta RCMP’s RTOC (Real Time Operations Center), Air Servies, specialized support units, as well as Edmonton Police Service.
The suspect began driving dangerously and erratically at high speeds, resulting in several near misses and some collisions. Police took actions to protect the public throughout this event, and the suspect eventually crashed in the Inglewood area. He attempted to flee on foot but was quickly taken into custody.
Thankfully, no members of the public or police officers were seriously injured in this dangerous, rapidly unfolding event.
The investigation continues. An update will be sent once charges have been laid.
