UPDATE: St. Albert RCMP advise that Kira has been located safe. We thank the public and media for the assistance. 
 

Original Release - November 22, 2025 @ 11:29 A.m.

St. Albert RCMP are requesting public assistance locating missing senior 92-year-old Kira Plachcinski. Kira was last seen on Nov. 21, 2025, at 5:45 p.m. and was reported to have been going for a walk from her residence in Erin Ridge in St. Albert. When her family checked on her this morning, they observed that she had not returned from the walk. There is an urgent concern for her well being. 
 
Kira is described as:

• Fair complexion
• White/Grey hair
• 130 pounds 
• Last seen wearing a dark jacket.
