The information gathered through the course of the investigation lead to a search warrant being executed in an apartment residence on Sturgeon Road.
During the search, RCMP located 5 firearms, 3 of which were stolen out of High Prairie. One of the firearms had its barrel sawed off, making it a prohibited weapon.
Shaun Kelly (33) of St Albert, Alta was charged with 13 Criminal Code charges:

- Unauthorized Possession of Firearms (x7)
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose (x1)
