RCMP - Crime Stoppers - Robbery at Convenience Store

At approximately 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, two males, who had their faces disguised, entered the Mac's Convenience Store located on Sir Winston Churchill Avenue in St. Albert and demanded cash. The suspects fled on Sir Winston Churchill Avenue in a dark coloured Dodge Journey SUV. 

The suspect vehicle failed to stop for a RCMP vehicle and turned south onto 127th Street at the north end of Edmonton where the suspect vehicle collided with a Taxi van.  7 youth fled from the suspect vehicle and were all arrested shortly thereafter by RCMP and Edmonton Police Service.

The Taxi driver was not injured in the collision, but the taxi van sustained property damages.  5 youth were lodged in St. Albert RCMP cells, while 2 youth were examined at the hospital for injuries sustained in the collision and one of the youth sustained an injury from a police dog bite. 

This investigation is on-going and charges are pending.
