RCMP Investigate Theft of Equipment to Skating Rink Pumphouse
On Dec 23, 2025, St. Albert RCMP received a report that over the weekend, unknown suspect(s) broke into the pumphouse located on Kingwood Boulevard in St. Albert. Once inside, thieves stole an electrical panel, copper wire and caused significant damage to the machinery. Estimated damages are believed to be
$100,000. The damage to this equipment is expected to impact the skating rink's operation this winter.
Police ask that residents report any suspicious behaviour around the pump house area.
