RCMP - Seek Public Assistance to Identify Male Suspect - UPDATED

ARRESTED: On July 4, 2024, a St. Albert resident was arrested and has pending charges concerning this incident. St. Albert RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance, as public tips were crucial in identifying the suspect in this incident.  

Information about the suspect cannot be released until information is sworn in.
 



Original Release - July 4, 2024

On June 26, 2024, at approximately 9:00 pm, two 15-year-old females were in the parking lot at Mission Ridge Shopping Centre on McKinney Avenue when an unknown adult male approached the females, asking them if they wanted to do drugs and have sex with him. The female youths got scared, so they walked over to their 14-year-old male friend and told him what happened. The male friend confronted the suspect, who then punched the youth in the face. An adult civilian attempted to intervene, but the suspect fled the area.

The suspect was described as:

  • Male
  • Light skinned
  • Slim build
  • 5’10” tall
  • 25-30 years old
  • Black hair and moustache
  • Wearing a black hoodie and black shorts
