2022 Property Tax Deadline – June 30

The City is reminding all St. Albert property owners that property taxes are due on June 30. If taxes are not paid on June 30, a four per cent penalty on outstanding 2022 amounts will be charged to accounts on July 1. Further penalties will occur as time passes.

Tax Payment Methods

The following options are available for payment of taxes: Pre-Authorized Tax (PAT) payment plan, by mail (5 St. Anne Street, St. Albert AB T8N 3Z9), in-person or via mail slot at City Hall, by telephone or internet banking and at participating financial institutions.

  • Tax Receipts
Receipt for payment of taxes is provided upon request only.
  • Payment via Cheque
If you choose to pay by cheque, please make the cheque payable to the City of St. Albert. For your convenience, postdated cheques are acceptable.
  • Alberta Land Titles Processing Delays
Alberta Land Titles is experiencing processing delays, and this is impacting assessment and taxation notices. In cases where a property has recently been sold, this may result in new owners not receiving their combined Assessment and Tax Notice (mailed on May 31). If you did not receive your Assessment and Tax Notice as a result of these delays, you can still obtain your 2022 assessment information by searching for your property on the City’s interactive assessment maps.
