City of St. Albert hires Director of Emergency Services
The City of St. Albert has hired Everett Cooke to permanently fill the Director of Emergency Services position, which oversees the City’s Fire Services and Municipal Enforcement Services teams. Mr. Cooke will begin his new role effective September 13, 2021.
Mr. Cooke has significant experience in fire services/protective services leadership positions. For the past four years, he has served as the Director of Protective Services/Fire Chief at the City of Beaumont. Prior to his current assignment in Beaumont, he served as the Fire Chief at the County of Grande Prairie.
The City is excited to welcome Mr. Cooke into the corporation and looks forward to the leadership he will provide to our emergency services professionals and the critical services the department provides.
The City appreciates the service of our former and acting directors and thanks all employees of the department for their ongoing contributions to our organization and our community.
