City of St. Albert Announces OFFICIAL 2017 Election Candidates

41 Candidates Running for Office

The official list of candidates for the 2017 Municipal Election in St. Albert has now been finalized. Those seeking public office formally declared their intentions to run and filed their nomination papers as part of Nomination Day, which was held September 18, 2017 at St. Albert Place. Since Nomination Day, one candidate has withdrawn their nomination.

A total of 41 candidates are running for the offices of St. Albert Mayor (3), St. Albert City Councillor (25), Catholic School Trustee for Ward 1 of the Greater St. Albert Roman Catholic Separate School District No. 734 (6), and Public School Trustee for the St. Albert Public School District 5565 (7).
