City Temporarily Closes Portion of Red Willow Trail and Kingswood Boat Launch
Due to a regional wastewater pipeline break near the corner of Sir Winston Churchill Avenue and Kingswood Drive, a portion of the Red Willow Trail system is temporarily closed along the Kingswood Park Day Loop. The closure will enable crews from Arrow Utilities to do their work.
The trail is closed from near the Botanic Park through to the pathways leading to the Kingswood Day Park entrance. Holes 14, 15 and 16 of the Disc Golf Course in Kingwood Park are closed as well. The Kingswood Boat Dock is also closed. Please see the simple map showing the approximate area affected. The area on the map identified as ribbon perimeter is off limits to public access.
Residents are asked to avoid the immediate area while repairs are underway.
