Members Needed for 2026 Civic Agency Committees and Boards
The City of St. Albert is inviting community members to apply and serve on a Civic Agency Board or Committee starting in 2026 to provide guidance to City Council and assist in civic operations in a variety of focus areas.
There are currently nine Civic Agency Boards or Committees seeking to fill approximately 33 vacancies. All positions provide community members with an opportunity to participate in decisions that help shape the present and future direction of the city. Volunteers are given a great opportunity to learn more about municipal government processes, gain leadership experience and become more involved in their community.
Positions are available on a number of boards and committees with a wide range of community interests, including public art, seniors-focused topics and issues, community services, public safety and the environment. Make a difference! St. Albert residents with a passion to serve the community are encouraged to apply.
The boards and committees currently accepting applications include:
- Arts Development Advisory Committee (ADAC)
- Assessment Review Board (ARB)
- Community Services Advisory Committee (CSAC)
- Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC)
- Internal Audit Steering Committee (IASC)
- Library Board (LB)
- Policing Committee (PC)
- Seniors’ Advisory Committee (SAC)
- Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB)
Applications will be accepted from September 18 to October 14.
