Economic Development Hosts 2018 Business Breakfast
Steady growth, a smart choice: St. Albert
The City of St. Albert is encouraging residents and businesses to attend the 13th annual Economic Development Business Breakfast where they will have the opportunity to hear St. Albert’s Mayor, Cathy Heron, provide insight into City Council’s economic development priorities.
Presentations by the Economic Development department will share information on the state of the economy and how it affects St. Albert, along with details on the city’s retail, commercial and industrial development updates.
Guest speaker, Stephanie Boldt, from professional services firm PwC, will share a special presentation on the draft tax legislation released in July 2017 that is related to “income sprinkling” and “passive investment inside private corporations”. She will discuss what was proposed, what went through and what it might translate to.
