A general election for the City of St. Albert will be held on October 20, 2025. On this day, voters will cast their ballots to elect one Mayor and six Councillors who will be representatives on St. Albert City Council over the next four years. Voters will also be electing school trustees for either the Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools (Ward 1 – St. Albert) or St. Albert Public Schools.
Voters can vote at any Election Day voting stations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Election Day voting stations are located at Kinsmen Club of St. Albert, St. Albert Inn & Suites, Red Willow Place, Servus Credit Union Place and St. Albert Alliance Church.
Official results will be released by Friday, October 24, 2025, once the manual ballot count is complete. The City will post official results on stalbert.ca. View the Current Election Status that shows voter turnout, number of ballots issued and, once the ballot count starts, the number of voting station counts completed.
Voters are invited to complete the 2025 Municipal Election Survey and provide feedback about their Municipal Election experience until October 25, 2025. Survey results will be analyzed and used to inform decisions regarding the 2029 Municipal Election. After the close of the survey, a “What We Heard Report” will be published and shared with Council.
