Fall Back into a Healthy Lifestyle
Aquatics, fitness and recreation programs now open for registration
For swimming, for fitness, for fun – we’re here for you! As we enter the fall season after a challenging summer, the City of St. Albert encourages residents to stay active and healthy this fall with an aquatics, fitness or recreation program.
From preschool programs to postnatal classes and spin programs to swimming lessons, there’s something for everyone! Program modifications are in place to ensure participant safety and adherence to provincial guidelines, including a reduction in class capacities for proper physical distancing.
Find the right fit for you and your family as fall programs at Servus Credit Union Place and Fountain Park Recreation Centre are now open for registration, including:
- Preschool 1 & 2: Our instructors will guide you in teaching your child foundational skills like floating, gliding, kicking and more.
- Form and Function: Pilates for Seniors: Gentle, easy to follow Pilates movement using props such as bender balls, bands and other small equipment.
- St. Albert Bike Caching Tour: Meet at different City parks and go on a guided 2.5 hour bike ride, stopping to find different geocaches along the way.
Additionally, the Landrex Water Play Centre at Servus Place has reopened for swimming, as has the community gymnasium and the Sarasota and Tudor Veterinary Field Houses. These amenities, as well as select drop-in programs, including hockey at Servus Place and lane swimming at Fountain Park Recreation Centre, are now available but require pre-booking which can be done up to seven days in advance either online or by phone.
Visit stalbert.ca/recprograms for more on how our staff and programs can help you get back into a healthy routine this fall.
