Grosvenor is Going to the Dogs!

Make a splash with your pup at the Grosvenor Dog Swim presented by Cami Comfort Homes. Admission is by monetary or pet item donation to the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS). For a complete list of possible donation items, please visit the SCARS website at scarscare.ca.

• Date: Monday, September 7
• Time:
  • All Dog Swim: Noon to 1:45 p.m.
  • Small Dog Swim: 2 to 3 p.m.
• Location: Grosvenor Outdoor Pool (1 Grenfell Ave.)

Small dogs must be under 25 lbs to attend the Small Dog Swim. While small dogs are welcome to take part in the All Dog Swim, to make sure everyone gets a chance in the pool, dogs are only allowed to participate in one of the swim sessions. Dogs must be able to enter and exit the water by themselves, or with some owner assistance from the side of the pool. Please make sure you bring bags to pick up after your dog.

While we welcome all swim styles, doggy-paddling is likely to be the stroke of choice for the event. A full list of pawty rules can be found on the City website.

Reminder: There will be no other swims (public, lane, etc.) on the day of the event.
