New Officer in Charge for St. Albert RCMP Detachment
Starting new role January 4, 2021
The City of St. Albert is pleased to announce that Inspector Ryan Comaniuk will become the new Officer in Charge of the St. Albert RCMP Detachment. He will take on his new position on January 4, 2021.

A proud Albertan, Inspector Comaniuk has close to 20 years of service with the Alberta RCMP. He has had the opportunity to provide policing services to several communities throughout rural Alberta. Prior to transferring to Edmonton and serving as the Alberta RCMP Federal Intelligence Commander in 2019, he previously served as Detachment Commander in both Whitecourt and Mayerthope. His supervisory and team leadership experience crosses several business lines, including Federal Policing, General Investigations Section and General Duty. He also proudly served in the communities of Athabasca and Hinton during his tenure in General Duty.
