City Holding Public Hearings on March 3, 2026, for Bylaw 5/2026 and Bylaw 7/2026
In accordance with Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Public Hearings have been scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. for Bylaw 5/2026 - Land Use Bylaw, Schedule A Amendment, North Ridge Phase 2 (Nouveau) 5th Redistricting, and for Bylaw 7/2026 - Redistricting of 23 Bellerose Drive.
Bylaw 5/2026, if passed, will redistrict 0.10 hectares± (0.25 acres±) of land within the North Ridge Phase 2 neighbourhood. Approximately 0.04 hectares± (0.10 acres±) of the lands will be redistricted to the Public Park (PRK) District, and the remaining 0.06 hectares± (0.15 acres±) will be redistricted to the Small Lot Residential (SLR) District.
Bylaw 7/2026, if passed, will redistrict 1.12 hectares± (2.76 acres±) of land at 23 Bellerose Drive from Direct Control (DC) District to Trail Corridor Commercial (TCC) District. Legal description of the land is Plan 202 0669, Block 3, Lot 5A. TCC District provides the opportunity of the widest variety of goods and services to the community and surrounding region.
